Tropical Storm Colin is moving through right now so I figured I’d take the time for a little fishing report. Fishing has been about as good as it gets, the end of spring Kingfish, Cobia, Snook and even some surprise Sailfish made for some wild fishing charters.
Fishing offshore of St Pete beach the Kingfish bite was insane. Mixed in with the Kings were plenty of cobia as well. The big surprise were the Sailfish we ran into. Every spring sailfish migrate through our area, but it’s pretty rare to get a chance at them, so it was pretty special to on them this spring. Inshore the snook fishing was awesome with big fish and big numbers of fish.
So far the summer has gone pretty good. Still catching really good numbers of snook and redfish and the tarpon bite is great.
