The Fall fishing run is in full swing and fishing off St Pete Beach has been on fire. Whether it’s inshore or near shore there has been lots of fishing action for my charters.
The King Mackerel bite has really taken off in the last week and we are catching good numbers of fish. Anchoring off St Pete Beach near some hard bottom or near big bait schools has produced the best catches. Along with Kings are tons of Spanish Mackerel and sharks to provide non stop action.
Because the fishing has been so good off the beach I haven’t been doing much back country or flats fishing. There were a few days of weather that didn’t allow us to fish in Gulf so we had no choice but to fish the flats. We found plenty of trout and some really nice redfish.
Don’t miss out on some the the best fishing of the year.
