Tarpon continue roll up and down our beaches and are putting on quite a show for us. On recent charters we have gotten as many as 8 hook ups in just 4 hours of fishing. Most of the fish have been right around the 100 lb. range with biggest being estimated at 170 lbs. Over 20 fish were put in the air this week and we have landed at least a dozen fish. St Pete Beach and Treasure Island seem to have the best bite and almost all of the fish were caught on pinfish. There is still going to be some great Tarpon action in the coming weeks, but I only have just a few days open, so If you really want to tarpon fish don’t wait to call.
If you are not interested in battling the “silver king” or just want some action for the kids the trout and redfish bite has been very consistent. Fishing flats around St Pete we’re catching many large trout and the redfish have all been over slot fish. Fishing live and cut bait has produced fish around the high tides.
Whatever you you want catch we can do it, give me call today, 727-638-0975
